Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in a California Traffic Collision

The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The influential game designer passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
